Big Bang Buzzcast Episode 62: The Status Quo Combustion

And that's it for season seven! Did it end how you were hoping it would?
  • Big Bang Theory is moving back to Mondays for the start of next season
  • This was Big Bang's most-watched season finale ever
  • We break down The Status Quo Combustion - Is it really change that Sheldon has a problem with? (See this review.) Has Beverly gotten meaner than she used to be? Plus our laments about the comic book store, looking at the evolution of the Leonard-Penny-Sheldon dynamic, and more!
Note that we're taking next week off, but we'll be back two weeks from now with our first podcast of the summer hiatus!

  1. Not discussed on this weeks podcast (Perhaps a good idea for part of an episode this summer):
Where does Sheldon wind up? I know Texas is the obvious choice...but it's not the only one.

  2. The show is in syndication on both the CW and TBS. Four or five nights a week the CW airs two episodes between 7 and 8 PM. TBS, however, has a bit of a marathon every night. Airing somewhere between 6 and 8 episodes a night. Although, I'm pretty sure both Big Bang and, now, Family Guy switch off on different nights. When that happens, Big Bang generally airs from 9 to 10:30 PM on TBS. #bigbangtheoryfanatic

  3. Hi,

I’m a big fan of the show. I usually watch the show with some of my best friends. One of my friends, who tend to make random outbursts on the show, pointed out that recently that Penny hasn’t shown her toes as often now as before Kaley got married. When we heard this, my other friends and I just busted out laughing.

Then for some reason, it got me thinking how right he is. It’s not something that I would normally look for. I guess he might have a feet fetish and I don’t. But what he said seems to be true. Before Kaley got married, she would wear opened toe shoes or is barefoot in most (if not almost all) of the episodes. But after Kaley got married, she’s not showing her feet as often anymore. Even in the episode where she came in to the kitchen from Leonard’s bedroom, she’s wearing Uggs. Nevertheless, I love her all different shoes.

This isn’t any criticism, just a basic observation. I know this might be a weird thing to point out. In fact, I’m laughing as I’m writing this post. But I figure you guys could use a laugh (or something).

Anyway, I love your blog and your buzzcast!
