Hey loved the podcast today, but I hate to say it, still had problems hearing Nicole (hope thats the way you spell it). I know you guys are trying and so nice you got new mics.
ReplyDeleteI didn't notice the Harry Potter wand in the promo pics, now I'm even more excited for the new episode. I enjoyed the episode and I didn't have any problems hearing Nicole.
ReplyDeleteThe "Aww the pet store" line is one of my favorites and that episode is a favorite of mine. The best scenes in it are them at the DMV, and then Sheldon crashing the simulator and Penny hitting him in the face with a pillow.
“You’re welcome!”…I told you that I enjoyed your discussions about the show and the one about my pregnancy question was terrific. I love the “bookend” suggestion about the “smart and beautiful baby” and the first and last episode…Yes, that’d be great! It is a bit daunting to think about this but most great shows have a useful lifespan of about 10 years, so we may be talking about a 2017 event…not too far away!
ReplyDeleteAbout Sheldon’s abuse of Amy, I see Sheldon as confused, conflicted, and in an internal struggle against what he may perceive as change not of his own volition. He manifests that discomfort as insensitivity but the ‘other side’ is that a potentially manipulative Amy has stated to Penny and Bernie that she has a long-term plan for she and Sheldon and she may expect this reaction to her ‘directing’ him along some course she expects their relationship to take. Whether we know it, like it, or not, woman set the tempo, boundaries, and goals for the relationships we men only ‘participate’ in! To that end, I would love to see the writers take Sheldon to a breakthrough in his work that only his consequent emotional maturation would allow and for him to take satisfaction from that. What better way to show that than to have the ‘final scene’ being Sheldon holding Leonard and Penny’s baby and saying: “I’m your Uncle Shelley!” and smiling!
Hi girls, love your podcast, but I really cannot hear Nicole, last episode #49 was much better (sound wise) Thanks for your hard work :)
ReplyDeleteLoved this episode! I didn't have any difficulty with hearing anyone. This is getting me through the hiatus!
ReplyDeleteSomething that you could do for an episode would be to talk about your favorite outside references. For example, a movie or tv show reference, a science reference, or maybe a comic book reference, or anything.
ReplyDeleteFor me personally it would be the model of Kandor Leonard shows Penny in his closet, because I'm a huge Superman fan. Just a suggestion, thought it might be fun.
I really love your podcast! I just discovered it recently and haven't missed a podcast since. This is my first visit to your website and I just discovered that you guys also watched Fringe - and here I thought I was the only person in this universe that liked this show :)
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great work!
We both love Fringe - and it actually gets a mention in our next episode! Thanks for listening!
