Big Bang Buzzcast Episode 1: The Monster Isolation

There seemed to be enough interest to give this a shot, so here we are! My friend Nicole has joined me in creating this first episode of our new podcast: Big Bang Buzzcast. (And as a fair disclaimer, neither of us have done this before, so we're learning as we go!) We talk a bit of news, and then discuss the latest episode:
  • Johnny says he hopes the writers stretch out Leonard and Penny as long as possible
  • Will Shamy get some sexy time any time soon?
  • Johnny joins Sina Weibo (and his profile is here) - but why not twitter?
  • We look forward to The Contractual Obligation
  • After last night's episode, we like Lucy!
  • Should they have kept the original tag?
  • Sheldon and Penny, Leonard and Sheldon, Howard and Raj... So many friendships to love.

    Hi, I just heard all prodcast, cool stuff. I like it. Liked yours opinion and random news about show like Johny weibo acount. Sure I will wait more. And I have idea, that Johnny might just wanted learn chinese more, thats whyt he on this app. Thank for news. Can we know both of yours twiters acount? Do you think than in the end of season might some couples broke up?

    Great podcast. It's nice to hear people that are as enthusiastic about The Big Bang Theory as I am. I would also like to know what you think the season finale will bring. Keep up the good work. I look forward to your next podcast.

    I enjoyed listening to this very much. I would like both of your opinions on why Penny keeps asking Leonard if he's going to break up with her even though he said nothing will happen between him and Alex. I don't think the show is planning on him actually dumping her, but I don't know why she's so un-necessarily paranoid.

    I really enjoyed listening to the podcast and will definitely listen every week. It was great to hear new opinions on the show without having to dig through the fan forum for hours. I was wondering which character you would want to see return that we haven't seen for a while? (such as Mary Cooper, Beverly Hoftstadter, Raj's parents, Priya, or any others). Keep up the good work on this podcast!

    I really enjoyed the podcast since I love reading or hearing about anything that's related to the show. I especially loved hearing your points of view on the recently aired episode and would love to hear your thoughts on future aired episodes. However, I had one thought. I'm not sure how other people feel but I don't like to know what happens until the episode airs. Therefore, I would talk about any upcoming/un-aired episodes at the end and maybe mention a spoiler alert. Just my thoughts.

      Generally Nicole and I don't consider officially released info (like promo pics, press releases, and promos) spoilers - as opposed to taping reports, which though I still link to here, I try not to read (and which won't be discussed on the podcast). But since I know there are some who really don't like to know anything before an episode, I'm sure we can figure out a way to give a better warning for other similar discussions.

      I agree with you. I also don't consider the officially released info as a spoiler either. When you started to talk about The Contractual Obligation in the podcast, I wasn't sure as to whether you would be talking about released info or the taping report, so I skipped over that part just to be cautious of any spoilers. I'm sorry about that, my mistake.

      No worries! Since I do link to the taping reports from this site, I did actually mean to mention in the podcast that we wouldn't actually be discussing those spoilers, but just forgot while we were recording.

    Hey Roxanne! Good podcast. I heard it partly on a flight home and then driving home. I enjoyed it very much. If you could make sure that the volume is a little higher, that would be great. The current max volume is good if one is in a relatively quiet environment but it is hard to hear when one is on-the-go. Thanks.

    Comment on dropping Sheldon/Penny thing filmed at the end (but not broadcast): I was at the filming. I was disappointed it wasn't there, and it wasn't random at all - it was related to the Streetcar Named Desire, and got Sheldon acting, which related to the Fun w/Flags. It wasn't filmed in the hallway - it was in Sheldon's apartment, and everyone was assembled to watch. It was like, "Oh, we have a special treat for all of you..." and then it was HILARIOUS with Sheldon wearing an athletic T and shouting "STELLA!!!!" It really was so funny, and as I watched the broadcast, I was growing concerned as time was winding down. I thought the actual ending was weak when compared with what we saw.
