Big Bang Buzzcast Episode 22: Clips from Comic-Con

Between Emmy nominations and Comic-Con, it's been an exciting week! The first half of this week's episode was recorded before any of that happened, and the second half is me by myself talking about Comic-Con - and it includes some audio clips from the panel!
  • Molaro gives some teasers for season seven in Entertainment Weekly
  • We answer a listener question about the behind-the-scenes process for our podcast
  • Emmy nominations! Big Bang Theory was nominated for Best Comedy, while Jim and Mayim both earned individual nominations once again
  • Highlights of the Comic-Con panel
  • Be sure to check out their interview with Ausiello
We're taking next week off, as Nicole will still be on vacation, so look for our next episode in two weeks on August 5th!

  1. Thanks for the BTS info!
I'm curious about the number of downloads and subscribers. Are you keeping track of that?

    1. We're trying to... According to Feedburner, we've got around 60 subscribers. Downloads per episode fluctuate (the character episodes right now seem to be more popular than our season discussions), but just looking at the most recent two as examples, episode 22 has at least 121 downloads, and 21 has 212. :) Considering we had very little idea of what to expect when we started, we're very happy with our numbers so far!

  2. Hi there,

I don't know if this is the appropriate place for this question, but I was wondering why The Big Bang Theory is taping on Wednesday, September 4, 2013? Doesn't the show usually tape on Tuesdays? If I were to get tickets to this taping, would I still be seeing an official episode being taped?

Thanks so much for the info!

    1. It's mostly likely due to Labor Day being on the second, and taking away one of their prep days before taping. So to compensate, they moved the taping one day later that week. But yes, that would still be an official/regular episode being taped that day.
