Big Bang Theory Taping Q&A

I do my best to answer any questions that come up in the comments, but Gina recently left a comment suggesting that I create a Q&A post of sorts:

Something that I would like to see on your blog is maybe a "Q and A" post... for instance, people can submit questions about the tapings and you could answer them. For example, I've always been curious about the actress that voices Howard's mother. Have you seen her at the tapings? Or are her scenes prerecorded?

First, to answer Gina's question - she is at the tapings, and does her lines live with the cast, but always hidden so we can't see her during the scene. But the actress, Carol Ann Susi, then comes out at the closing curtain call with everyone else. (A side note, virtually every time she was in an episode, and thus listed with the cast in that week's program, I'd hear someone in the audience speculating about whether or not that meant we'd actually see her character.)

So if anyone else has questions related to Big Bang Theory tapings - how things are done, cast and crew, whatever - you can leave them here, and I'll answer if I can.

And remember, you still have four days to enter to win Kunal's autograph if you haven't already!

Leonard and Penny Bobbleheads

Ever since the Sheldon and Howard bobbleheads were released, I've been waiting somewhat impatiently for a Leonard one... And now it's here! Rather fittingly, the Penny bobblehead is being released at the same time.

 

They are produced by Funko, and a quick web search should bring up a number of sites where you can purchase them. Do you guys already have any, or are you planning on purchasing them?

Spoilers for final two episodes of Big Bang Theory!

As many of you may know, since I wasn't allowed to attend the tapings of the last two episodes this season, I decided I'd go spoiler free for them. I've read nothing except for official releases and the little teasers from sites such as E! Online and Ausiello - but I'm sure that many of you are still dying for more!

Remember that I haven't read these myself, and I'm not planning to, so all I ask is that you please don't discuss these in the comments on this site. Behind the Scenes Video Specials

Back in January, at a taping one night we were told that a crew from E4 (a British TV channel) was there to film a behind-the-scenes special for The Big Bang Theory. And last week, during the airing of episode 100 in the UK, the specials finally aired!

There were two half hour specials, both of which have been uploaded to youtube:

I haven't had time to watch them myself yet, but they look to contain plenty of cast interviews and behind-the-scenes goodies!

Although I won't be attending the final two tapings of the season, I will be keeping this site going! So now the question is what do you guys want to see more of? General news? Reviews? Something else?
